Hi Joanne, Mike and your wonderful family and friends,
I just wanted to let you know that I have been thinking of all you often over the last year. When I met you wonderful ladies at the screening of the documentary I thought you were in a "league of your own". To have the courage and strength to beat this is amazing but to also raise wonderful children and have an incredible family along the way definitely puts all of you in a "league of your own."
To this day you continue to inspire me and it is obvious by all the letters from your family and friends that you do not have to look far, to find your "heroes" in life. Quite simply...you are it.
Please take all this wonderful energy and love and surround yourself in it and know that even from a distance you are someone's hero.
