Dear Joanne, Mike & the kids...
What can I say that everyone else hasn’t been said... Your family love for each other is amazing and the love for your family is incredible. I think back to the family dinner we had at Robin & Kevin’s when Kim told me that you were walking in the W2EBC – I was thrilled as I was walking also. I was scared because I didn’t know how the heck was I going to be able to “walk the walk” but I thought if you could do it I could. When we met that night at a training walk (I think it was the one we walked down town and Ms. Jones helped us raise a lot of money – we had a blast that night) I knew right away what an amazing person you are... You had no clue who I was until I made the infamous (sp) “Richardson laugh” you know the one that Robin does (snort snort) but you made me feel like a friend right away, thank you. You said one time that you are just an ordinary person – but you’re not, your more then that. The circle of friends that your family has is amazing – they are true friend’s not fair-weather friends. I want to say thank you for getting me through the walk and I ‘m glad I was there to help you through some of the challenges that you “thought” you had being able to do the walk. You also told me when you were getting ready to go on your family trip to never cry for you that you will be ok… I said ok (well I lied – sorry). I’ve come to realize this week (if this makes any sense) my tears that I have for you are tears of joy because you have touched so many people’s lives... James Taylor wrote a song – YOU”VE GOT A FRIEND. I think everyone can agree to this.. You and your family have many friends and all you have to do is call and they will be there – like wise – if we called on you and your family – you’d help us out… Thank you…..

p.s. your nails did look really great on breakfast television that time that they interviewed you before the walk..
