Update On Joanne

What a beautiful day.
We've had the opportunity to actually talk with Joanne today. With the sedating meds being held back, while keeping up with the pain meds, Joanne has had some extremely lucid moments at lunch and dinner hours. While moving her to comfortable positions does cause pain, she is able to do so relatively quickly with my, or the nurses', assistance. It would appear that she is actually SLEEPING as opposed to being sedated into unconcsiousness (is that a word?). [Yes, but not spelled that way - Dad]
We look forward to actually visiting this weekend with family and friends.
