Update On Joanne

Hello Mike and Joanne. I wanted to send you all my positive thoughts, my energies, and let you know how often I think of you both. I respect and admire you Mike and Joanne. You're a great team and I know that during this tough time, teamwork is everything. I also wanted you to know that it's been wonderful watching your family and your relationship grow over the years .

I can still remember many years ago meeting Joanne the first time at the Daquano's. Mike and Joanne were dating at the time - just kids- still in school. I thought she was a wonderful girl with a great name (mine is Joanne also). I thought she was friendly, outgoing, pretty, and turned out she was smart too. We played a "friendly" game of Trivial Pursuit- a brand new board game and Joanne was picked for Ted's team. Ted aparently had motives, cause they not only won, they kicked some serious butt. I was duly impressed. Of course, our team was somewhat handicapped by the copious amounts of beer being served to us. Our senses dulled by Ted and Joanne - servers of many beers !! One thing I did notice that night - Joanne was very much in tune with all the DQ's, especially Mike, and I thought then as I do now, that they were perfect for each other - soulmates. Many years later, and 3 great kids, it's still true.

Joanne - Take care and know that you're in alot of peoples' prayers and thoughts. You've touched alot of lives including mine and I salute your heart - full of grace, your soul - generated by love.

In closing Joanne - I remember you enjoyed yoga as do I, and I I think this ancient yoga blessing says it best -
