From the d'Entremont 'sisters'

Leaving Credit Valley, after visiting Jo, last month; we didn’t make it to the car before we decided it was time to do something to show our immeasurable respect and admiration for Joanne. She is a tough act to follow – how do you measure such strength and determination? We ‘sister-in-laws’, along with some of our children decided to get TATTOOS. Our idea wasn’t for everyone but it felt ‘right’ with us.

First it was planned to be at Mike & Jo’s and Jo was going to participate. However, the doctor advised against it. Still, we were going to go ahead and 'let' Jo watch us ‘squirm’. Needless to say, once again plans were changed when Jo was admitted to the hospital prior to our ‘date’. We decided we must go on (as we know she would).

Soooo Sunday Aug. 13th we had our little Tattoo ‘party’. Each of us was able to choose / design a tattoo that suited us amazingly! We couldn’t have picked more unique locations or designs that were more suited to our individual personalities. As you will see in the photos attached, we all survived, and we are proud of it!! Also, we must extend our immense appreciation to Underground Ink for going above and beyond by accommodating us and committing their whole Sunday to our ‘cause’. Thank you so much Larry & Jen!

Joanne has had the opportunity to see each of our tattoos and she seems quite impressed. On our visit to her Tuesday night she was quite adamant about “still going to get one / don’t care what the doctors say!” (Sorry Mike – you’ll have to battle that one out with her). Joanne and Deni (Deni couldn’t decide on a design) have decided to get matching tattoos. They are currently in the process of ‘choosing’. If we can make it happen we will. If we can’t – Deni will get what Jo wants and it too will be posted on the Blog.

In closing – our tattoos are our way of showing our respect for the untouchable Joanne. They are in honor of the endless inspiration that she has given us all. We can never forget.

We love you Joanne ..... Linda, Caitlyn, Meaghan and Sheri, Deni & Lucas

PS - Dylan, we’ll be seeing you on your 16th birthday!

Comments:
Hey Tina - glad you like them! If you want to plan a day with your Mom / Aunts / Sister just give Larry & Jen a call at Underground Ink. They can just book you all for a Sunday at their shop and you can have your own little 'party'. It was a lot of fun watching each other and being there for support. We are all already planning our second. Can you believe it!

Sheri
