Hello Mrs. Dequano, (as we used to have to call you!) hahahah
It is Sinead and Kathy Irvine, some Holy Cross students that you once taught and the Irish dancers. Who would have thought that you would have ever entered into the Irish Dancing World as well! It's quite a place isn't it!
I should have sent this way earlier, but for the past two years I (Kathy) have been a teacher at St. Francis in Georgetown. I teach the grade 8's and at the graduation ceremony this year, I have had the honour of presenting the Christian Living Award. Doesn't sound like much, but to this very day, I still have the photo of you presenting me with my Christian Living Award when I was in grade 8. You were pregnant too! I still have that bible that you gave me too! Actually an even funnier story, I had that Bible with me when we were doing a group project or something and I must have forgot it, and it was returned to me like three years later! It is weird the way things work out!
We are thinking about you and your family and you will be in our thoughts and prayers everyday!
As Lance Armstrong would say, "Livestrong Joanne!" or should we say "Livestrong Mrs. Dequano!"
You are an amazing teacher!
