Update On Joanne

Hi,

It's Sandy Vesz here, Jo and Mike's roommate from Sorauren Ave in Toronto many moons ago when they weren't really living together before marriage! Jo had an entire bedroom set up to show her mom when she came to visit!

There is one story that sticks in my mind from a weekend that Jo spent with the Ryerson gals many years ago. After a particularly big night out in Penetang (if that's possible), we all awoke to a major hangover, even Jo, who lay there with the usual wet washcloth on her forehead. Being the good girls that we were though, we dragged ourselves out of bed to go to church at the beautiful Saint Marie among the Hurons. We sat quietly in the back of the church until communion time, when Jo leaned over to me and whispered, "Well, it's about time! I need a little something to settle my stomach!" Needless to say, I was once again caught giggling in church.

Looking forward to our visit tomorrow. Rest well tonight.
