Julie’s Mom Bonnie
Hello Joanne & Family, from Bonnie (Julie Little’s Mom)
I have been following your BLOG, and not really knowing how to explain the powerful impact it has had on me. I remember Julie telling me about a friend she had met through Andrew who was a wonderful lady. Next thing I know I was at a shower for Julie in Georgetown and it was Joanne who understood I really didn’t know everyone and went over the top to make me feel comfortable. Julie was right!! Then Julie told me you were a Christian lady and you were just a great girl. Next came your battle with cancer and Julie then kept me informed with your journey. You inspired me to join in fundraisers at my work and my collogues gave me the names they wore on their backs during the run, Bonnie’s Mom, Bonnie two sisters, Bonnie’s best friend Sharan and Julie’s friend Joanne.
The next year Sharan I had my first Breast Cancer Garage Sale with most of Julie’s (stuff). Sharan and I hung out our Sign with the very same names. We raised a good sum of Money for Breast Cancer, and learnt to be grateful for “Love”. I did the walk for the first time with Sharan and remember still today she asked about you, a bond I believe that comes with the disease but more powerful one with the love for God.
Love is God’s greatest commandment for all of us, and your actions speak louder than any words, I continue to pray for you and your family and I have learnt from your BLOG more about the need to share Love by giving and allowing others to love us back.
