Update On Joanne

Dear Joanne,

I haven't known you long, but I've heard so much about you from my daughter, Jen(nibear). Who's been after me to meet you. When I heard of your battle against cancer, I prayed for you everyday to get better. So I could invite you over to our house, eventually. Unfortunately, Jennibear informed me that you were back in the hospital. And that made me very sad. So I said to myself, "I can't wait any longer. I need to come to you to introduce myself." I wish it was under better conditions. But life does not always throw a perfect condition your way. So you have to make the best of it.

Seeing you has changed my outlook on everyday life. I take it slow, and focus on the task at hand. Yet you're always in my heart. I think of your pain and say to myself, "Joanne is here to teach me about how precious life is."

Reading this blog has also brought me closer to you knowing you have such a loving family and many many great friends. That you have touched their lives in so many ways and now I feel special that you have been apart of my life.
