Mon Aug 21

A restful night, with some pain, but Joanne managed to get some good sleep. Oxygen has been started again, just to keep up the oxygen levels in her blood which is good for the heart. There was no movement to a "Broda" chair as we are all concerned that unnecessary movement is not good because of the pain it causes. While it wasn't a very nice day weather-wise, there were lots of visitors who stopped by to say hello, rub some cream on the feet, and generally make Joanne feel great - even if she fell asleep on them!

OK - you got me.....what's a boda chair?

To family and freinds,I don't know where to begin. I have known Mike & Jo since high school if not longer. I just wanted to share a few thoughts about them. Joanne, what can i say. She is so very kind and just a great person. Mike you have been so strong through all of this and once again I alpologize for showing so many emotions where I first visited Jo in the hospital. You where comforting me when it should of been the other way around. When I went to see Jo again I managed to keep it togehter and I was glad to have comforted her a little bit. You know Mike I will be there again and my prayers are for you,Dylan,Dean and Darcy as well as jo and the rest who love and care her so very much.
God Bless,
Love jen,spencer and ray

BODA Chair ??
Haven't got a clue, never heard of it before. Googled it and here's what I found ....

Since 1981 BRODA Seating has been manufacturing unique and innovative chairs specifically designed to meet the needs of the long term care environment. Over the last 15 years, therapists, nurses, other medical professionals, and engineers from a number of different fields have all contributed to the BRODA chair line. The result is a seating system designed to be as user friendly as possible to caregivers and as comforting as possible for residents and patients.

Now we know,
Ted
