____________________________ A meeting place for the FRIAMILY of Joanne Daquano _____________________________
Many years ago I had the privilege to coach Dylan in soccer. What I didn't realize was that the Daquano family was also part of the arrangement. As you all know, the Daquanos are quiet and unassuming people (ya, right). Mike decided that he had to help me coach. So, the two coaches (Mike and I) on a Friday night decided that we needed to discuss strategy on how to insure that these six year olds would be successful. Over a bottle of CC we were well on our way to solving all the problems of the world (of course we forgot to write them down). At this time, Joanne showed up with Dean, Darcy and Dylan. The wine, CC continued to flow. It was one of those nights, that time was lost. My wife Maxine fell in love with Jo, as we all did. As we awoke the next morning, Maxine asked "Did Jo make it home safely?", I said, "I don't know!" A voice from the far side of the bed said, "Yes I made it home safely" - It was at that time that our home became a home away from home for all the Daquanos.
