Update On Joanne

One day, when Mike was around 16-17, I turned to Bev and observed in my tactful manner, "Holy crap, that girl follows Mike around like a little puppy dog." Apparently Joanne overheard this remark or had it reported to her ???. To my knowledge she has never held it against me. She has also never forgotten it either and has reminded me from time to time in her own tactful manner. One day a few years ago she was talking about a class project or event she had arranged. I complimented her saying something like, "That is a wonderful idea and will be a great lesson for the children. Good for you." She looked at me with a little smile and said "Not bad for a little puppy dog, eh Poppa."
