Remembering Camp Tanamakoon?

Hey Jo,
It's me ... Cathy Bradley (Jenkins) I've been tucked away up north most of the summer at my cottage and was just given an update on how you are doing last Wed. I'm thrilled that I get a chance to talk to you through this blog ...

So my mind wanders back to where we first met, Camp Tanamakoon- you remember, all of those long hard hours relaxing, eating, reading, laughing, oh, and eating some more! Do you remember the great game all of us played in a cabin one day called "What would you do for a million dollars?" - well, perhaps I should just leave that story right there shall I ? Ha ha. Can you believe we actually collected a paycheque for that? I think we had more fun than the kids!

I do want you to know that I sat on my dock and prayed the rosary for you when I heard you were in the hospital. When I closed my eyes, I stood by your bed, held your hand and prayed that you were free of pain and that the love you have given to all of us is coming back to you tenfold and comforting you. While I meditated on this vision of you and I, a huge angel, the size I have never seen before stood behind me almost as if I wasn't even there and looking down at us. He enveloped the room with his wings , almost like he was shielding and protecting you. I hope you felt the enormous amount of light and warmth he was beaming on you Jo - He was very strong and gentle and very real. I know how much you love angels, so I'm not surprised if many are visiting you! I'm looking at the "Loving Angel" you gave me as I write this. Know that I am with you in spirit, and of course wishing I could sit beside you and make you laugh!

I love ya- I'll blog again soon.
Love Cathy
