To family & friends,
I don't know where to begin. I have known Mike & Joanne since highschool, if not longer. I just wanted to share a few thoughts about them. Joanne, what can I say. She is so very kind and just a great person. Mike, you have been so strong through all of this and once again I apologize for showing so many emotions when i first visited Joanne in the hospital. Thats just the way I am. You were comforting me when it should have been the other way around. When I went to see Jo again I managed to keep it together and I was glad to have comforted her a little bit. You know Mike I will be there to visit again and my prayers are for you Dylan,Dean and Darcy and the rest who all love her so very much.

God Bless,
Love Jen Armstrong and family

Joanne, or as I always call you - JO JO (whether you like it or not!).

Thank you Mike and Ted for this opportunity to have family and friends send Joanne the outpouring of love and support that she richly deserves. Mike - you and Joanne have a bond that, especially during this very painful time in your lives, make others reflect on their own relationships. I have often used you both as an example to others - and Joanne surely is a poster child for how to handle adversity with grace, serenity and a great deal of laughter. I too have great memories of Joanne during our days at Holy Cross school, and I can still see Joanne and Louise Giffin dragging their heels from the staffroom to their classrooms and both complaining "do we have to go back.........??"

Joanne, Mike and family - I would like to share this saying that I've had on my desk for over 15 years:

"When you were born, you cried and the world rejoiced. Live your life in such a way that when you die, the world cries, and you rejoice."

Good thoughts and prayers are always with you. Tiziana
