Update On Joanne

Yesterday evening found Joanne in a frustrated state of pain. It seemed to be more of a muscular, bothersome pain instead of the bone pain. I was massaging her back and found a real "hot point" in the small of her back, and could really feel a "knot" that I tried to knead out. I've asked her to get the Dr. to "up" her pain meds to see if we can nip this in the bud, before it gets much worse.

While massaging her back and thinking she was actually sleeping, I was telling a story to John [Wheeler] and DeeAnn [Mason] and threw out an "f" sharp ("f" bomb - the "f" word), when she opened her eyes and said, "Hey!" and closed her eyes to continue listening to the story. Ever the teacher - and one who wouldn't say "shit" if her mouth was full of it!!

She did end up having a good sleep and is sleeping well this morning.
