Update On Joanne

What a great day yesterday was! While there were frequent requests for backrubs and there was pain, it was at a manageable level. Joanne was at her brightest, most sarcastic and teasing self, between naps.
A surprise visit from a friend who has relocated to the US buoyed spirits all around. Kathy Limina spent a good hour with Joanne and says hello to all her Georgetown friends.
It wasn't a very restful night with quite a bit of manageable pain, so Joanne is going to ask for the pain meds to be "upped" a bit today. Kay and myself both had a break from overnight stays because Ann Langley offered to spend the night! Ann is off to England today for a family wedding .... thanks for being there Ann! Safe Trip.
