Dear Joanne and Mike:
I am overwhelmed by the love and support that is so evident through the words of your family and friends. I was emailed by Lynn Harvey, the producer of "Don't Stand Still" and have often emailed her wondering how you were doing. I have been reading this blog over the last while and I am so moved and inspired by your strength. I only wish that I could make this disease simply go away. Your story in that documentary gave so many people currently battling this disease the hope that they needed to keep on fighting.
Please know that I am keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers and at this year's Weekend to End Breast Cancer, our team Ali's Alliance of Angels will be taking those steps in your honour.
