Update On Joanne

Hello Mike and Joanne.
My name is Carly LeBlanc, former student of Joanne's. I just found out about this blogging site and knew that I had to write in. I just wanted to say that Joanne was and still is a huge inspiration in my life. She helped me when I was a student in her class and I just couldn't figure out math, and she helped me when I too, was sick. Words can't express how much it meant to me when she came to visit me in Sick Kids, and how she was so supportive through it all. I still have the CD you made me, and I still have the journal with the message you wrote in it, and even though the pages are filled with entries, it holds a special place in my heart. You are constantly in my thoughts and my prayers, and I feel honoured to say that I was able to be in your class in Grade 7. Its the one year that stands out the most, and one that I will never forget.
