From Phil (Joanne’s cousin), Nicole, Justin and Noah in Ottawa:
It’s amazing to see how many people have posted to this blog. I don’t think I even know this many people.
While we were in Toronto last summer, Joanne, Tante Kay and Dean met up with us for an afternoon visit. They met and cuddled our youngest son, Noah, who’s currently 15 months old. Our oldest son, Justin, napped the entire visit so they never got a chance to meet him (he just turned 3). I’ve attached a recent photo of the boys.
I hadn’t seen Joanne and Tante Kay in years (far too many to count). I was living in Halifax for years, and then moved overseas. This made regular visits next to impossible. Now that we’ve got two young children of our own, I’m wondering how Joanne, Mike and the children ever managed to get out so much to meet so many people. While our visit was short, it was simply wonderful to catch up again after so many years.
Our prayers are with you. We’re harnessing our household energy (and there’s lots of it) and focusing it on all of you.
