A message to Auntie Kay.
With each new day I religiously visit the blog and I am filled with so many emotions with each new entry. I am inspired by Jo's strength every day. As a new mother, I could not help thinking about you Auntie Kay. I can't imagine how you are feeling and I know that I could never understand what you are truly going through. The bond between a mother and a child is like no other and I know how important it is for Jo to know that you are there for her every day.
Having just had a daughter of my own has been the most incredible experience of my life. I only hope that Hanalei and I will be able to develop a wonderfully close relationship together as you and Jo have. You are the inspiring role model that Jo has had to become the person that she is today. Thank you for being that for her and for showing others what that looks like.
