Mon Sept 11

Our Angel slept all through the night.

As of 8:22 am she is still soldiering on.
The rattle has returned and breathing is very shallow.
Joanne is at peace, now we just wait for her to be at rest.

I know the way is ready. I have a story to share about how I know her path is ready. I just need to get home to my computer. In due time.

She has a piece of the finish line ribbon from the W2EBC on her bed now, and we all know she is going to finish this journey with the same grace and dignity with which she has done everything in her life.

She is a wonder to behold.
She is an Angel.
I love you Joanne.

All my heart and soul,
Mike

ANGELS

Seek an angel with an open heart
and you will find one.
The way you know an angel
is by your feeling.
Angels may not always come when you call them,
but they always come when you need them.
An angel is someone who helps you believe
in miracles again.
Sometimes you know angels only by the miracles
they have blossoming in their paths
after they have gone.
An angel is someone you're always happy
to bump into.
An angel is someone who
raises your spirits.
An angel is someone you feel you've known
forever even though you've just met.
An angel is someone who helps you grow.
Angels make you feel welcome in this world.
Angels encourage your best qualities
and hidden talents.
Angels give you those gentle pats on the back
when you sometimes need to keep going.
Angels give you direction.
Angels gently push you out of your little self
and into the broad arena of love.
Angels remind you that you are enough.
Angels help you see your life in a better light.
An angel is someone who brings out the best in you.

Hi Mike,

I cannot believe your strength. You have been an inspiration to many!!! I have kept this site up on my computer all day throughout the duration and am not surprised at all that Joanne has touched so many people in so many ways. I knew the day I met her that she was remarkable and we have shared many a laugh together. The world will not be the same when she leaves us but her spirit and love will live on through many!! She will always be your guardian angel to protect and guide all of you through what lies ahead. God Bless.

I am so inspired to see that you are able to experience God's peace at this time, Mike. I have a little story to share. I tell people that the day I lost my Mom was the worst and the best experience of my life. We had a long fight with breast cancer which finally ended in a tremendous peace. I had, at the urging of Mom's nurse returned to work 3 hours away from Mom only to get a call the next afternoon that she was in a coma and to come quickly. I raced home to find Mom struggling. She was waiting for me, the last of her babies to arrive. I took her hand, told her I was there and immediately she was at peace. I could feel God and our dear friend in heaven, Paul Fayle, with us. The feeling was overwhelmingly beautiful and from that moment I was at peace with our loss. I will never fear for I have seen first hand the promise fulfilled. I still feel the loss and always will but I know I was also given a very special gift. I feel that you feel this too and I pray that the kids will experience this as well.

Our prayers continue to be with you, the children, and ofcourse our dear friend Joanne.

Mrs. Daquano is truly an angel
There is always a special place for her in my heart
i love you Joanne(Mrs. daquano)

Dear Mike,

I am grateful that Joanne was able to rest comfortably last night. My wish is that she will continue to be without pain from here on out. God's grace is surely upon both of you as you walk these final steps together. It has been a privelege to participate in some small way through this blog in your journey.

Much love, Val
