Update On Joanne

Mike,Dylan,Dean and Darcy:
Words cannot describe adequately my feelings of frustration, anger, selfishness, and deep sorrow for your loss. Frustartion that a cure was not found in time for your family. Anger in why such a giving and loving person was taken away from all of us too soon in her life and sorrow that when something like this happens everyone that it touches is never quite the same again.
September 11th 2001 always makes me reflect on the families affected by this event and hope they are coping with the loss of their fallen heroes. Well as far as I'm concerned we can all add Joanne to that list of heroes and it is only fitting she passed away on the same date. Joanne was a hero to many people not only as a loving wife, mother, and friend but as a teacher and mentor to children. Teachers that truly love their professions and students the way Joanne did mould the fabric of our society. For that and all of the other extraordinary things you did such as your ability to motivate people to fight the cure for cancer along side you we will always be in your debt and mark my words it's because of people like you Joanne that a cure will be found one day.
