Update On Joanne

Joanne did not have a good Monday afternoon. She was upset about vision difficulties and balked at some meds thinking they were the problem. It took nurse Lani quite a while to convince her that was not the case. Though Joanne was a little confused through out the day she did enjoy a visit with the children and expressed lots of interest about where and what they were going to have for dinner.

Mike and the family have been touched by this community's love, and gracious support under such extraordinary circumstances. He would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the special visitors that have come to see Joanne and tenderly expressed their love and good wishes.

It is time however, that we respectfully and gently request that visits with Joanne be reduced to family and close friends only. We would greatly appreciate it if you would continue to direct all your strength, love, prayers, thoughts and stories for Joanne and her family to the blog.
