AN ODE TO THE BLOG
Alas and alack the blog must go
All things must come to an end
We've shared our memories of Mike and Jo
The ties that made them our friends
Mid laughter and tears the tales went on
With poetry here and there
Those Irish blessings to start each day
The words , so perfect in every way
We'd all agree the blog has been
What bound us together as one
But now its time to say goodbye
We've come to the end of the run
And who to thank for setting this up
But Ted, dad, poppa, our friend
It's been so great we'd all agree
So thank you Ted from ... The Friamily

I second the first comment. I read the poem and thought "What a wonderful way to end the blog". Just like Julie, and I'm sure the rest of our "friamily", our family shares the same feelings.
May the blessings we all received through this wonderful blog and from each other remain in our hearts always.

Dear Kay, how appropriate that the woman who gave Joanne life should be the one to end the blog.I prayed everyday for Joanne and her family. I like to believe that my prayers were answered. How many families could have shown so much faith,and love for each other and so much dignity in such trying times? I thank you for allowing us to share in your journey. Some happy days and some sad. Joanne will never be forgotten.She has touched so many lives in so many ways.May god bless and keep you all.
